With over twenty-five years of private practice, in addition to teaching at the collegiate level and consulting for small businesses and professional practices, Michael A. Babiarz offers a unique combination of experience and accessibility to serve his clients.
Michael received his Juris Doctor with High Distinction from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago where he attended on a full academic scholarship. He was staff editor of The John Marshall Law Review and has published more than one hundred scholarly and professional articles and eight books.
Prior to entering private practice, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Howard C. Ryan, Justice to the Illinois Supreme Court. Michael has been active in both the legal and local community, teaching at William Rainey Harper College and High School District 211 Adult Continuing Education, Chairing the American Bar Association Committee on Elder Law, Serving and Chairing the Board of Directors of the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council, and being elected to the Palatine Park District Honor Roll.
Michael has volunteered for numerous nonprofits in Illinois and Florida, co-hosted a broadcast radio show, performed as a professional musician and loves both his rescued greyhounds and his wife Ann.
